Program Manager

Hope Haven of the Lowcountry

Hope Haven of the Lowcountry, a fully accredited Children’s Advocacy and Rape Crisis Center located in Beaufort, South Carolina is looking for a full-time Program manager to provide leadership, supervision and management oversight for all services at Hope Haven. Responsible for the delivery of high quality services.  Develops strong collaborative relationships with the community, specifically, law enforcement, Solicitor’s office, medical community and Child Protective Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Creates and maintains structures, processes, and functions to ensure that the mission of Hope Haven is met

*Ensures that all services such as forensic interviews, medical evaluations, mental health treatment, crisis counseling and other serves are delivered effectively and efficiently

*Provide strong leadership to the local multidisciplinary team (MDT) and chairs the monthly case staffing

*Participate and provides necessary leadership with the State Chapter and coalition

*Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with other organizations that collaborate with Hope Haven.

*Develops and facilitates teamwork among Hope Haven staff to attain  team goals.

*Ensures that all program personnel issues (hiring, supervision, evaluation  termination, etc.) are in keeping with Hope Haven’s policies and procedures.

*Plans and develops the agency’s budget in collaboration with the Executive Director, and other appropriate management staff.

*Plans and achieves annual objectives for service improvement in keeping with the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the organization

*Ensures staff participate in evaluation and quality improvement.

*Ensures effective implementation of policies and procedures for Hope Haven staff.

*Monitors state and national issues and/or trends that could potentially impact Hope Haven

*Provides education and information to community through professional presentations and speaking engagments

*Provides direct client services (forensic interviewing, counseling, case management, victim advocacy) as needed.

*Performs other duties as assigned and delegated by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and ExperienceMaster’s degree in social work or related field and at least two years experience at the management level.  Licensure (LISW, LPC) preferred. Previous experience in program administration/management is required .

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*Strong clinical knowledge in evidence based treatment of child abuse (ex: TF-CBT) and crisis management.

*Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.

*Strong supervisory skills

*Knowledge in budget development and management.

*Experience in a team oriented environment.

*Strong interpersonal skills.

*Excellent oral and written communication skills.

*Must be able to appropriately respond to the cultural differences present among the organization’s service population.
