The Family Resource Center has an immediate opening for a Clinician Trainer. A Graduate Degree in counseling or social work and experience working in victim?s services is required. Applicant must be able to pass a SLED criminal background check. The Clinician Trainer is responsible for training Kershaw and Lee County area clinicians, hospital staff, school personnel, faith leaders, and other agency partners in identifying symptoms of psychological, physical and sexual abuse and how to make referrals. Provide case management support for clients needing multiple services including administering diagnostic tools, completing assessments, conducting sessions and groups, and participating in clinical, case management , and multi-disciplinary team meetings. Universities and colleges across the nation are dealing with substantial challenges posed by the health issues among students. Student Health Services provides unique opportunities to address the health behaviors, risks, and prevention of our students to ensure academic success and promote quality of life. Primary goal is to organize and build capacity of community-based violence prevention efforts to understand and prevent sexual assault and interpersonal violence. Under the supervision of the Director of Student Health Services responsible for the planning, organizing and implementation of a comprehensive sexual assault, advocacy, violence prevention programs and services for the university community, including strategic planning, budgeting, research and grant writing. Supports and incorporates the Healthy Carolina initiative in all programs, activities and marketing strategies. Trains, directs, and supervises others performing various tasks associated with the delivery of programs and services, including graduate assistants/interns and peer educators. Services include, but are not limited to: resources and referral, advocacy, events planning and coordination, support groups, community outreach, and cultural events co-sponsored with other student organizations and other internal and external stakeholders. Serves as a part of the administrative team for Student Health Services. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Student Personnel Services or related field and five (5) years related experience, or a bachelor's degree and seven (7) years related experience. At least two (2) years experience in sexual assault and violence prevention/advocacy and one (1) year in a supervisor role in a related area. Degree in related field may include social work, counseling, psychology, health promotion, etc. Strong leadership, organization, facilitation and presentation skills required. Ability to speak to large audiences and facilitate small group discussions. Experience in college health with an emphasis in women's/men's advocacy for violence and sexual assault. Demonstrated background in program planning and implementation and grant writing. Excellent organizational skills and time management necessary. Intermediate desktop publishing, word processing and spreadsheet skills highly desirable. Experience with evidenced-based programming. Domestic Violence Offender Group Facilitator

Responsibilities include: ? Conduct assessment for each incoming referral and orient to group if appropriate; collect, receipt and submit assessment fees; ? Conduct weekly two-hour, group sessions; collect, receipt and submit group fees; follow curriculum topics as assigned; ? Prepare and submit weekly notes on each participant?s attendance, progress, and fee payment to ATV Program Director for client file; ? Submit weekly a copy of each receipt with funds attached or a money order for fees collected to the Program Director with attendance roster and case notes; ? Set up group room each week and return to original order prior to leaving; ? Submit monthly itemized invoice of all assessments and group sessions for payment. Invoices will not be approved for payment until all sessions have been held and all group notes submitted for the entire calendar month; ? Maintain active e-mail account for communication purposes; Education/Experience: ? Minimum of Bachelor?s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field; Master?s Degree preferred; ? Knowledge of dynamics of domestic violence, victim and offender profiles, cycle of violence, power and control, and impact of violence on the family; ?
