Ashley received her BA from Winthrop University in English and Secondary Education, her MA from the University of South Carolina in English Composition and Rhetoric, and will be completing a Masters of Library and Information Science at USC in May 2021. Prior to joining SCCADVASA’s training team, she worked as a public school educator in Columbia. She also has several years of experience designing and facilitating professional development for educators. As a South Carolina native, she has always been passionate about raising awareness of social justice issues in South Carolina with a particular focus on gender and race inequalities. As Program Coordinator for Training and Technology, Ashley will be working on new and existing SCCADVASA trainings to make them more effective, engaging, and interactive.
