Natalie is a Columbia native with a commitment to social justice and victim services. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina. During her studies, she gained a greater understanding of the degree that systemic oppression operates within social institutions such as education, government, and the judicial system. After college, she worked as the Marketing Coordinator at a small sales firm, but maintained faithful to her passion of social justice by volunteering throughout the midlands. She has an extensive volunteer history, including working with Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands as an advocate and phone banking for Planned Parenthood. Natalie also worked at the inclement weather center for Transitions Homeless Shelter. Natalie has found her niche at SCCADVASA by having the opportunity to link survivors and direct service providers to a variation of resources throughout the state.
