The Family Justice Center:
The Family Justice Center was established in 2007 through community led efforts to address domestic violence. Residential shelter exists in Georgetown County and will soon open in Horry County. The Family Justice Center has a budget of close to $1M with significant federal and state resources and employs more than 15 people.
Executive Director Role Description:
The Executive Director is a masterful communicator, convener, and collaborator who believes that people would take steps to create a future without violence if they knew what to do. The Executive Director oversees efforts for all people who experience relationship violence in Georgetown and Horry Counties to have access to a safe place to live and avenues for healing from the trauma of relationship violence.

Location:
The Family Justice Center has offices in Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, operates a 24/7 hotline, and manages residential shelter properties. The Executive Director is expected to regularly be available to support staff and attend meetings at both offices and in the community. Occasional night and weekend hours will be required for community events and emergency services. Limited travel to Columbia, SC or other national locations for conferences may be required with significant advanced notice for planning. Compensation: The Executive Director is a full-time, salaried position. The Family Justice Center offers a robust benefits package including (100% health insurance premium paid for employee, basic dental/vision/life insurance, accumulated time off and 11 paid holidays; STD/LTD and additional life insurances available for purchase). Salary based on experience with budgeted range from $65,000-$85,000.
