Election 2020 Candidate Survey

2020 Election Domestic & Sexual Violence Candidate Questionnaire

SCCADVASA works proactively to increase the awareness of how laws and policies impact the lives and healing of survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Our policy focus areas are determined by our member organizations experience of emerging and ongoing needs at the community level and then we strive to make sure these needs are heard and understood by our state legislators and congressional delegation.

This is why, as we approach the 2020 election, SCCADVASA sent out a survey to all South Carolina candidates who are running for local, state or national office. We realize that South Carolinians and our communities are affected by domestic and sexual violence each and every day and that these candidates play an important role in the prevention of, and response to, intimate partner violence.

Below you can click the links to view the full report of responses that we received, or you can view those for your specific candidates. If you do not see your county or district listed, that is because we did not receive a response to the survey.
