Description:  

During this training, GLOBO will provide a walkthrough of how to utilize interpretation services when communicating with Limited English proficient individuals in various scenarios.  

We’ll go over how to get to an on-demand interpreter through the GLOBO Connect App, GLOBO HQ Portal, and through the dedicated interpretation line. There might be scenarios where you’ll need to schedule a remote call or an on-site interpreter in advance, and a walkthrough for that process will also be provided.  

Additionally, Ana Castellanos will explain how staff at Member and Affiliate Organizations can request an in-person interpreter or a document translation.  

Objectives: 

After this training, participants should be able to:

  • Know the different kinds of interpretation available through GLOBO’s services 
  • Understand how to connect with the various language services provided by GLOBO 
  • Know how to request an in-person interpreter and document translation through SCCADVASA’s language access program 

This training has been approved for 1 hour of VSP credit.
